The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) , in consultation with the Treasury Department, announced today that the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) will re-open the week of January 11 for new borrowers and certain existing PPP borrowers. To promote access to capital, initially only community financial institutions will be able to make First Draw PPP Loans on Monday, January 11, and Second Draw PPP Loans on Wednesday, January 13. The PPP will open to all participating lenders shortly thereafter. Key PPP updates include: · PPP borrowers can set their PPP loan’s covered period to be any length between 8 and 24 weeks to best meet their business needs; · PPP loans will cover additional expenses, including operations expenditures, property damage costs, supplier costs, and worker protection expenditures; · The Program’s eligibility is expanded to include 501(c)(6)s, housing cooperatives, destination marketing organizations, among other types of organizations; · The PPP provides greater flexibility for seasonal employees; · Certain existing PPP borrowers can request to modify their First Draw PPP Loan amount; and · Certain existing PPP borrowers are now eligible to apply for a Second Draw PPP Loan. A borrower is generally eligible for a Second Draw PPP Loan if the borrower: · Previously received a First Draw PPP Loan and will or has used the full amount only for authorized uses; · Has no more than 300 employees; and · Can demonstrate at least a 25% reduction in gross receipts between comparable quarters in 2019 and 2020. How To Apply You can apply through any existing SBA 7(a) lender or through any federally insured depository institution, federally insured credit union, and Farm Credit System institution that is participating. Other regulated lenders will be available to make these loans once they are approved and enrolled in the program. You should consult with your local lender as to whether it is participating in the program. Other items of note: · Expenses paid with PPP funds are now tax deductible · SBA rescinded the condition requiring EIDL grant money to be deducted from PPP forgiveness. If you received EIDL Advance funds. You no longer need to take those into consideration when applying for PPP forgiveness. · The EIDL Loan deadline has been extended until Dec. 31, 2021 · Lender and borrower fees for SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs are waived. · SBA has authorized grants to eligible live venue operators or promoters, theatrical producers, live performing arts organization operators, museum operators, motion picture theatre operators, or talent representatives who demonstrate a 25 percent reduction in revenues. POOL OPERATIONS MANAGER Application Deadline: January 29, 2021 Overview: The Village of Antioch is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Pool Operations Manager to oversee the quality and success of all pool operations including the management of the pool managers, staff, lifeguards and swim instructors. The desired candidate will maintain expert-level knowledge of the StarGuard Certification and requirements, and demonstrate thorough knowledge of aquatic facility emergency management, and top-notch customer service policies and practices. Audits all positions to ensure efficiency and improve inefficiencies. Manages swim lesson program by accessing enrollment records and rosters, assigning instructors, merging classes, closing classes and creating new classes as needed. Ensure all classes have been properly created, and class sizes are appropriate. Ensure pool parties are staffed, and rental calendar is current. May have to make important decisions regarding inclement weather, cancellations, and closings. Position description available upon request. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of two (2) years experience as a lifeguard and a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a pool manager. Current Lifeguard and Swim Instructor Certification or ability to obtain through training prior to pool opening. Options CPO Certification. Metra will be making changes to the weekday schedules on the Milwaukee District North and West, the North Central Service and the Metra Electric lines beginning Monday, Jan. 11. The updated schedules are intended to improve travel options and train operations across the Metra system. The revised schedules are posted on metrarail.com. Customers are advised to review the entire schedule for their line as departure times and stopping patterns may have been adjusted throughout. Metra will continue to reevaluate its schedules during the COVID-19 pandemic and make changes as warranted to enable social distancing and address current travel patterns. Major changes to the Antioch North Central Line are outlined below. North Central Service Schedule changes on the North Central Service will address operational issues. • Inbound trains: o Train 102 will depart Antioch 17 minutes earlier at 5:38 a.m., making all stops to CUS. o Train 108 will add a stop at Wheeling before operating as an express to Western and then CUS. • Outbound trains: o Train 113 will be renamed Train 115 and will depart from CUS 27 minutes later, at 5:28 p.m. It will stop at Western, express to Wheeling and then make all stops to Antioch.
