Seasonal Job Posting Job Title: Summer Day Camp Director Schedule: Seasonal Position- May through August Monday – Friday Hiring Amount: $14.00-$17.00 an hour Application Deadline: April 4, 2022 The Antioch Department of Parks and Recreation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life by providing parks, open space and recreational opportunities for the Antioch Village residents, while preserving and enhancing the natural benefits of the environment. The Summer Day Camp Director oversees the day-to-day operation of the day camp including, staffing, supervision of day camp staff, program quality, policy and procedures, risk management, parent concerns and complaints, daily program scheduling, assistance with participant account management and all other duties as assigned by the Program Director. The position is also responsible for supply expenses, and assists in the hiring of part-time day camp counselors. The applicant must have basic computer skills, great phone etiquette, and strong interpersonal skills. Preferred applicants are enrolled in college w/ a preferred major in Education, child or human development or another related field. Preferred candidates have 2 years of leadership responsibilities.
