FINANCE

The Finance Department is dedicated to maintaining the financial integrity and stability of the Village of Antioch. Our team ensures the effective management of village funds, providing transparency, accountability, and excellence in financial operations. We aim to provide accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making and ensure the long-term fiscal health of the community.

Key Responsibilities

Budget Management: Developing and overseeing the annual budget to ensure that village resources are allocated effectively and align with strategic priorities.

Financial Reporting: Preparing comprehensive financial reports and statements to provide transparency and accountability to the public and governing bodies.

Revenue Collection: Managing the collection of taxes, fees, and other revenues to support village services and infrastructure.

Expenditure Oversight: Monitoring and controlling expenditures to ensure responsible spending and adherence to the budget.

Debt Management: Administering the village’s debt portfolio to maintain favorable credit ratings and minimize borrowing costs.

Accounts Payable and Receivable: Processing payments to vendors and collecting receivables in a timely and efficient manner.

Payroll Administration: Managing payroll for village employees, ensuring accurate and timely compensation.

Financial Planning and Analysis: Conducting financial analyses and projections to support strategic planning and decision-making.

Audit Coordination: Facilitating annual audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
